First virtual meeting (February 19-20-21,2025)

The first Virtual Meeting, themed "Digital Narratives: Connecting Histories Across Borders," took place from February 19 to 21, 2024. Hosted by the Turkish High School, the meeting brought together 45 students and 9 teachers (15 students and 3 teachers from each partner country). This three-day program aimed to enhance digital storytelling skills while fostering collaboration and cross-cultural dialogue.
Summary of Activities
Day 1: Introduction and E-Portfolio Development Workshop
The meeting began with an introductory session, during which participants were informed about the objectives and expected outcomes of the project. Following this, an E-Portfolio Development Workshop was conducted. Experts introduced various digital tools for portfolio creation, such as Padlet, Mentimeter, and Kahoot, to engage participants and facilitate interactive learning. Students started working on their digital portfolios, documenting their cultural heritage research and experiences.
Day 2: E-Portfolio Refinement and Initial Sharing
On the second day, students continued refining their e-portfolios with personalized guidance. A session was dedicated to sharing work-in-progress, where participants presented their portfolios, exchanged ideas, and received constructive feedback. The use of interactive tools, such as Padlet and Kahoot, encouraged active participation and peer learning.
Day 3: Cross-Cultural Dialogue and Future Planning
The final day featured a structured Cross-Cultural Dialogue Session using digital platforms. Discussions centered on the role of cultural heritage in contemporary society, allowing students to develop a deeper appreciation for different cultural perspectives. The meeting concluded with a planning session for upcoming activities, ensuring the continuation of project engagement.
